Four filmmakers completed their short films at the end of 2010 through a digital workflow workshop exercise designed by ColorMill in collaboration with Digitech and Post-production guru David Cummins (127 Hours). Director Fellows were: Jill Orshcel, An Dinh, Connie Wilkerson, and Alex Haworth.

Invented by SLFS staff, this progressive project allows hundreds of local filmmakers to exhibit their work in a poetry-slam style night of screenings four times annually. SLFS presents an annual collection of audience winners, critic pics and others at a best- of show celebration at year-end.

A year-long educational project that has nurtured over 120 writers since 2005. Workshops encourage critical thought, embrace creativity and promote collaboration with peers. 2011 Mentors included Keith Gordon, JD Payne, and Joan Tewkesbury.
